I have graduated. I cannot believe I am finally done with school. The past month has been super great!! I have just been relaxing and working part-time as a substitute teacher. I now have time to read all the books I have wanted to read as well as see all the movies I wanted to see; but didn't have time to. At the moment I am finishing up the Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice. I know I need to get on the ball and start studying for my THEA test so that I can begin my teacher certification, but to be perfectly honest with you I just don't feel like it right now. After that grueling 18hrs of summer school the thought of even looking at a text book makes me ill. I know I need to do it though, sooner rather than later.... but maybe I'll start next week.

Right now I'm on the Master Cleanser with Chris and am hating life; meaning I have no life right now. I have not eaten any solid food in 8 days and have been holed up in the house watching instant movies on Netflix and reading everyday to pass the time. I have had numerous invites from my friends to do fun stuff which I have had to turn down.. Boo! Chris wants to do it for a month (which means 3 more weeks of Hell. He wants to do it for cleansing/weight loss purposes... but I only want to loose some weight... I could care less about the cleanse. I have lost 8lbs already...go me. I'd like to loose 8 more, that way when I gain some weight back I'll probably stabilize at 120lbs (that is what I'm at now).. which is ideal for me. I'm stopping when I get to 110 and I told him that..so I'm trying to get there ASAP so I do not have to continue with the stupid cleanse and can start eating like a normal person again. Of course I will have to eat really healthy in order to maintain my ideal weight... but I think the sacrifice will be worth it in the end. Not to mention Chris promised he would take me on a trip when this was over to show off my sexy new bod. I'm pretty excited about that.

Well, I guess I'm going to go and dream about food now........

Trying to get back into it....

I know I know.. it's been a while. For those of you that actually read my blog, I'm sorry.. I don't really think that any of you do..lol. But, none the less, I've been a really bad blogger. Things in life seem to be going well. I'm almost done with school. Only 7 more weeks to go!! I'm freaking stoked. Although, the 15 hours of summer school I decided to endure in order to graduate this summer are starting to take their toll on me. In fact, as soon as I get done with this blog, it's back to my nose in the books. This weekend is my Birthday. Another year gone already. I cannot believe it. I swear it goes by so freaking fast it's scary. I'll be 26. If I was in denial at 25 I cannot be anymore. I'm officially going to be in my "late 20's". Now doesn't that sound weird. Well, as long as I look 22 or younger I'm okay with it. To be perfectly honest, you couldn't pay me to be younger. Every year I get older I get smarter and I wouldn't trade that for anything. Until next time... ta ta!!

FAKE FRIENDS: Never ask for food.>
REAL FRIENDS: is the reason you have no food.> >

FAKE FRIENDS: Call your parents Mr / Mrs>
REAL FRIENDS: Call your parents DAD/MOM> >

FAKE FRIENDS: bail you out of jail and tell you what you did was wrong>
REAL FRIENDS: Would sit next to you saying 'Dawg ... we screwed up... but that was fun!' > >

FAKE FRIENDS: never seen you cry>
REAL FRIENDS: cry with you > >

FAKE FRIENDS: Borrow your stuff for a few days then give it back>
REAL FRIENDS: keep your stuff so long they forget it's yours > >

FAKE FRIENDS: know a few things about you >
REAL FRIENDS: Could write a book about you with direct quotes from you> >

FAKE FRIENDS: Will leave you behind if that is what the crowd is doing>
REAL FRIENDS: Will kick the whole crowds butt that left you> >

FAKE FRIENDS: Would knock on your front door>
REAL FRIENDS: Walk right in and say 'I'M HOME!'> >

FAKE FRIENDS: Are for awhile>
REAL FRIENDS: Are for life> >

FAKE FRIENDS: will talk bad to the person who talks bad about you.>
REAL FRIENDS: Will knock the person out that talked bad about you> >

1/2 Marathon... Tammy and I got in on Friday afternoon around 3pm. The day started out "brilliantly" b/c we got a free upgrade on our rental car! Whoopie! Unfortunately our Motel room was less than average.... but we won't let that get us down.

Friday night Tammy's friend Jason drove down from Orange County to meet us for dinner. We headed over to Pacific Beach and ate dinner at P.B. Bar and Grill. After that we spent a couple of hours at the Hookah Bar down the street. That was very entertaining to say the least. Other than Tam I don't know anyone who can blow diamond rings with their smoke... well sort of ;-) We ended the night with a short walk on the beach before heading back to crash at the good Ol' Goodnight Inn.

Saturday morning was a blast. We woke up and went to Baja Betty's which serves a mean Baja style brunch complete with bottomless sangria or mimosas (your choice). The whole gang was there so it was all about good times. All the servers were in full costume, so Halloween was in the air. We had a handyman who was generous enough to let us borrow his tools for picture props. I will be sure to post these later. While we were lounging on the patio enjoying our patio table.. the topic of nose rings came up. This conversation some how ended up in 3 people getting pierced (myself included) right after we left. Never a dull moment to say the least. That night was a blast... we entered a Halloween costume contest ..but unfortuanatly didn't win... Boo.

Sunday was pretty low key. Tam hung out with Jason while I kicked with Heather all day. We at breakfast at Perry's Cafe and went shopping in Mission Valley and P.B. Later that night all the ladies (me, Tam, Heather & Carolina) met at Harney Sushi in Old Town for a really low key dinner.

Monday morning Tam and I met Ricky for breakfast (again at Perry's even the same table) and then walked around and did some shopping in Old Town before we set out to the airport.

The trip was amazing and we had an awsome time....

To those out in C.A... we miss yall already and can't wait till our next visit.

As Promised

Ok.. so I promised to tell all of yall about my fun night out with the girls week before last when Chris was out of town..so here it goes.

Date: Friday Oct. 5th 2007 .. continued into Oct. 6th 2007

Hot Chicks: Tammy, Jenna & Yours Truly

Added later: 1 new gay best friend... Breck

Places graced with our presence: Vino 100, Lotus & Suite

Rolled out in: Yellow Cab

So it all started at Tammy's house at around 9:30pm when we all were there and putting the finishing touches on our make up and waiting for the cab. We first went to Vino 100 which is a great wine place. It has a selection of 100 diff. wines for under $25! You can buy it there and open the bottle to drink it. So we did that and got some appetizers and pretty much just chilled out for a while. While we were sitting there we were watching the club across the street. It was packed and playing all the great 80's dance tunes that never get old. We decided we would try it out. Turns out the club's name is Lotus.. maybe you've head of it? Anyhow.. the line was wrapped around the building (let's also mention it was TX OU Wknd). I decided I wasn't going to wait in line so I just walked right up to the door guy and handed him my ID like I owned the place. Needless to say we walked right in past the line!!! Wut Wut!!! As soon as we walked in these guys bought us shots and drinks... yeah. Then they just walked off.. we didn't even have to talk to them or anything. It was great. Personally I think they saw my wedding ring and decided to try their luck elsewhere; which is totally fine with me. When we finished our drinks we decided to cab it over to Suite. I had not been there before but had been hearing how great it was; plus Tam and I's buddy Matt is the owner. We walked right in there too, which was cool. Then we found Matt and he took care of our drinks the rest of the night.... How cool is that? Sometime that night Jenna cut her finger open and was bleeding everywhere (the biggest drama of the night). We ended up leaving around 1:30am ,b/c her finger was hurting, and gong back to Tam's. When we arrived at Tam's place we ran into one of her neighbors, Breck, and invited him to come to her place and have a drink with us. Turns out he is gay.. but we knew that anyway. So now we have a new Gay best friend which is cool, b/c every girl should have a gay best friend. We crashed around 3:30a.m. The next day I woke up hangover FREE!! You can't ask for anymore than that!!

More about Bruce..

Okay.. as you all probably know already I have a small infatuation with Bruce Springsteen. I got his new album a few weeks ago and I totally love it. If you are a fan then I suggest you go buy it right away.

ANYWAY... I keep checking to see if he has added Dallas on to his national tour... but... NOOOOO!! I'm so mad! I'm he went to Oklahoma City for crying out loud! Oklahoma City! How in the good Lord's name could he go there and NOT come to Dallas! I mean really...

I'm going to San Diego next weekend and he is goint to be in L.A. that Monday. I'm going to be so close to a concert I can't hardly stand it! So close.. yet so far away.

I guess lets just pray that he decides to extend his tour to 2008 and come to Dallas...

: - (

Overall update

Ok.. so it's been a while since I've written, so I guess I'll update you guys up till now.

Running: Well week before last was really good! I ran 5 miles almost every morning that week and then on Saturday (9/29) I ran my farthest run so far which is 7 miles.
A lot of you probably already know this b/c I sent a text out to a bunch of people to share my joyous moment..lol.

Last week on the other hand wasn't bad.. but it wasn't my best week either. I only ran 5 miles once and 3 on the other 2 days. I didn't do a long run this week b/c I went out on Friday night and well.. you know... ;-)

I was already to start running on Monday with full force, but I started feeling icky on Sunday and then on into Monday so I decided not to push my luck (which turned out to be a good idea, as you will read later.

School: School has been going really well so far. Ill break it down by class.

Literary Criticism: I found out a key grade I've been waiting for on Monday. I made and A on a Essay I was harping over a few weeks ago. This really surprised me b/c I did not expect to do so well on it (actually almost fell out of my chair). We were to pick a sonnet (a poem that is 14 lines) and do an analysis on it. Well I picked a pretty hard poem; Silence by Edgar Allen Poe. I thought it was going to be easy at first, but as I started into the paper I realized I was wrong. I thought about changing sonnets but decided to push through this one. Turns out it was a good idea.

Shakespeare: I have not gotten any big grades back or anything, but I have read 3 whole plays that I had never read before (Henry the IV part 1, Henry V & A Midsummer Night's Dream). At first the reading of Shakespeare eluded me. But being the smart person that I am I went to the library and checked out the plays in modern English. This has been a great help. Although I spent $100 on my stupid book which I dont use. Boo!!

General Life Science & LAB: Okay.. so I actually like the lecture part of this class alot.. but I really hate the lab. It's like taking a another whole class; and it's only one day a week and 3hrs long. 3 WHOLE HOURS!! First of all I'm A.D.D. so that is totally not cool. How on Earth do they expect me to pay attention that long? Well needless to say I don't. LOL. If it wasn't for this hilarious "Queen" I have sitting at my table I would pull my hair out. He cracks me up every Monday. Thank you Gerald!!

My first test in the class went pretty well. I thought I was going to ace it for sure (I felt really good about it when I left). Needless to say I didn't ace it. I got 38 points out of 50; which is like a 76%. I wasn't too happy about it at first, but the class average was 26 points. I was 12 points about the average, so I can't complain too much. I guess sitting in the front row pays off..LOL. Anyhow, at this very moment I'm supposed to be writing my 8 page report for my lab (which I just started) that is due on Monday. I guess I can put it off just a little longer.

Everything Else: Not really a whole lot else going on except work, school and running. I'm getting really excited about my trip to San Diego in a few weeks. Tammy and I have picked been looking for our costumes and all that. We are going to be Yin and Yang again this year since we are not going to be in Dallas and the costume was such a hit last year. We are however changing it up a bit so that we dont look the same in pictures. I know it's silly.. but we're women ya know. Chris was out of town last week for around 9 days and I had the house to myself. It was kind of nice at first but I was defiantly ready for him to come home on Monday. I did go out w/ my girls last Friday, but I'm saving a whole different blog for that.. complete with pictures. So stay tuned (I should have that up in a day or so). So anyway, Tammy and I went and saw that movie "The Heartbreak Kid" w/ Ben Stiller , on Saturday afternoon. It was soooo funny. I recommend it to anyone who loves to laugh so hard they cry. Saturday night I had planned on staying home (well at Grandma's) and finally finishing my book "Lasher" by Anne Rice. I was so tired and really was starting to feel kind of yucky. Of course my little sis spoiled my plans of relaxation. Since I was staying at my Grandma's (where she still lives) she wanted me to go to Firewater with her and watch her friend Blake's band Venture play. Of course they were the last banc and I was there till 1:30am. They were amazing however and if you are into hard rock then I deff. suggest picking up their new album. You can hear their songs on their Myspace if you'd like to try before you buy. Anyhow, by the time I left I was so tired I could hardly stand and was praying all the way home that I didn't fall asleep at the wheel. Finally when I got home my ears were ringing so bad from standing next to the speaker that I could hardly fall asleep. Needless to say Sunday was a "do nothing" day for me. I came home and played Final Fantasy for like 8hrs straight before I crashed and went to bed. Monday was awful.. I felt bad that morning and didn't want to go to school, but did anyway. By the time I left my throat was hurting pretty badly. I had to pick up Chris at the airport so I couldn't' go to sleep. By the time I picked him up at 8pm I couldn't even talk my throat was so swollen. Turns out I had strep throat. Yuck. Well thanks to my super awesome liquid vitamins I'm all better now. Chris and I got up on early Saturday morning (I can't believe I actually go him out of bed that early)and headed over to the Dallas Arboritum to the Tours De Fleurs 10K & 20K race. There must have been 3000 people there. It was sooo crowded. The horn sounded at 7:30am and we were off.

I pretty much stayed at a good pace the entire way. I wasn't there to try to win or anything.. just to train and have a good time. About 1/2 way through the race the hills started.. WOW. I had not trained on any hills at this point b/c there really are none in Frisco. Along with the hills started the cramps in my side. OUCH. I was really hurting and wanted to walk a little, but then I looked up and read the guy running in front of me's shirt. It said: "Pain is just weakness, leaving the body".... Man... I was like... ok weakness.. be gone!! So I kept going and enduring the pain (which went away a few min. later). Go me. When I finished Chris was standing at the finish line taking my picture. Unfortunatly it came out blurry. I think the website should have some photo's though.. they were taking pics the entire way (about every 200m).

After the race we went and ate breakfast at The Origional Pancake House.

Here are my official results:

In my age group(25 - 29), I came in: 16th out of 174
Overall I came in: 262 out of 1122
My finishing time was: 55:45 (min/sec)
I averaged: 8:46 min. mile

Run Forest Run!!!

Last week did not rank on the top of my list for my training schedule. I only got to jog on 2 days last week and lift weights once. The days that I did run (which were Wensday and Thursday) I did very well and realized that I am getting faster. On Thursday when I ran I added 1/4th of a mile on to my longest weekeday route and ran it in the same time I had been running it the previouse times that I timed myself. I ROCK!! I'm running a 10K race on Saturday and am really excited about that.

Sorry I didn't have much to write this time, but not really too much to tell. I'm sure I'll have plenty to say about my 1st race...so stay tuned!!

and again....

<div style="width:480px; Bummer. I did jog on Suday though. Only 2 miles in the after noon. It was super hot. I thought..better 2 miles than no miles at all.

9/3 - 9/6 (5,4,5 miles): Okay.. so this week as been top knoch!! Woke up early Monday and put in 5 miles in 42 minutes.. go me! Then on Wed. I couln't get out of bed. I ran that evening around 7pm. It was still kind of hot. I had eaten dinner an hour before so I got some stomach cramps; this caused me to walk a little ways. I got in 4 miles and I'm not sure of the time b/c I didn't turn on my ipod correctly and it didn't record it. This morning was awesome. I got up early and ran another 5 miles in 42 minutes. My knees were slightly sore after this morning's job. I popped 2 Advil and that took care of that.

The past two weeks I have been running more miles during the week than it says im supposed to on my schedule. I'm pretty stoked about this. The weekend runs have been about right on target though. I think this weekend I will try and go over the 6 miles that the schedule has down for me.

I am so proud of myself for sticking with this! OMG... I seriously cannot wait to go to his concert. I just downloaded his new single this week, "Radio Nowhere". If you have not listened to it yet you must drop everything you are doing and go listen to it right now. It is simply amazing. Really. Even you young people will like it. I swear. I know.. I know.. I'm like the only 25 year old on the planet who even thinks that good Ol' Bruce is the coolest guy ever... but ya know.. that's me.

Anyway, I will be attending the concert in 2008, so if any of you folks want to join me let me know (although I'll be surprised if I have any takers). If not Chris is going to be forced to endure it with a smile on his face! :-)

Givers & Takers

It has come to my attention in the last year or so that the people who are supposed to love you the most are the ones that do the most damage. We had a great turn out though.. I was super excited to see so many people. I probably would have stopped to walk a little bit.. but Tammy (who hasn't worked out in over a month until today) was keeping it strong. I on the other hand have been jogging several days a week in addition to going to the gym.. so of course.. I couldn't stop and look like a weenie. Tammy and I finished our 3 miles in about 30min clocking about a 10minute mile. I found out when we finished our jog that Tammy wanted to stop too.. but was thinking the same thing I was. "If she can keep going so can I" This my friends.. is why a jogging group is so great!! Ha.

Wed. 8/8 (3 miles): Today was much better b/c the morning is sooooo much cooler than the evening. I however have a hard time getting up so early. But I knew everyone was waiting on me, so I did it (another reason this group rocks). Even though I made it I was late getting there (5min) and I couldn't find my headphones so I didn't have any tunes, boo. I'm a huge breakfast person and had not eaten anything (not that I want to eat too much b4 running.. but a little fruit would have done me good). I felt like I was doing so awful this morning, Tammy pulled way ahead of me (curse her long legs). I wanted to stop so bad.. but then was like.... "What the heck.. I did 3 miles in 90 degree weather day B4 yesterday w/ out too much trouble.. so don't be a pussy now... Man... I'm deff eating a litte something tomorrow" When we finished this morning I looked at my Ipod/Nike thingy (it tracks all your miles/ times/ and calories) and I had finished in 26min running an 8 min mile.. that's way better than Monday!! Wut Wut!!!

Thursday 8/9 (run 3 miles & walk 1 4 TOTAL) Last night Tammy text me to tell me she was going to be running on her own (she lives downtown so I don't blame her for not wanting to drive up here all the time), so I decided I was going to go ahead and join the 6am group @ Frisco Commons. At 5:30a.m. I looked at the alarm clock as it was sounding in my ear and then looked outside (still pitch black). The thoughts going through my head were... I won't even be able to see where I'm running; I'm just going to go at 6:45 like I have been. Surely there will be at least one person there. At 6:41 I shot out of bed. The alarm hadn't gone off again (I think I actually turned it off by accident), but intuition woke me up I suppose. I got ready so fast my head spun. I half ass brushed my teeth and stuffed some watermelon down my throat before I jumped in my car to Frisco Commons. I got there 14 min late and there wasn't a soul in site; just like I knew there wouldn't be. Soooo I turned around and decided that Max (my loyal Great Dane) was just as good a running partner as anyone else. I ran around the normal rout I take in my neighborhood. I had my headphones this time so my Nike/Ipod Pedometer told me when 3 miles was up. Max ran the whole way w/ no problems. We did a mile long walk for a cool down before heading back to the house. Even though I didn't have anyone but Max.. I still clocked good time; averaging an 8:48 minute mile.

Saturday 8/11 (4 miles) I woke up sleepy eyed and not so bushy tailed Saturaday morning. Tammy was here on time at 6:30am. We drove to Chilsom trail to begin our dreaded 4 mile jog. When we arrived there was another jogging group there meeting and stretching in addtion to the tons of other joggers. We were glad that we were not alone. We also enjoyed watching all the ducks that froliced around the park. The four miles was not as bad as I thought it would be although I did struggle w/ the last mile and my time went down a minute to a 9:50mm (minute mile) just for that last bit. Tam and I decided that since the event is farther away than 10 weeks that we are going to extend our work out schedule by doing each week's work out 2 weeks in a row starting w/ this week. That way we will be in better shape when the really long runs begin to take place. Here are my totals for this week.

Number of workouts: 4 jogs and 1 day weight training (5 total)
Farthest jog: 4.02 miles
Total distance for the week: 15.32 miles
Total time spent jogging: 2.64 hrs
Total Calories burned: 1444
Personal Best Time for 1mile this week: 7:51mm
Average Time: 8:44mm

Monday 8/13 (3 miles): Okay.. I couldn't get up this morning so I ended up jogging on the treadmill at the gym. I used this opportunity to check and see how accurate my ipod/nike contraption is. Turns out it was 400 meters off at the 3 mile mark. This means that I have not been jogging as far as I thought.. boo. Tomorrow Tammy and I are going to the track at the Frisco High School to calibrate our ipods, so that our runs are accurate from now on. I ran my first 2 miles at an 8:15 min mile pace and my last I slowed down to a 9:20 mm.

* I felt really crappy all day about not getting up and jogging in the morning..so I don't think that will happen again.

Tuesday 8/14 (4 miles): This morning I pretty much shot out of bed w/ no trouble what-so-ever. Go Me!! Since I found out yesterday that my ipod wasn't accurate I went ahead and added a half a mile to my 4 mile goal to be sure I ran a complete 4 miles. I figured it's better to over run than under run. I ran like a champ and could have kept going if I had wanted to. Max on the other hand started slowing down on that 4th mile; but he made it to the end. When we finished we walked another half mile back to the casa. I took a shower, ate breakfast & then crawled back into bed w/ my honey for another 45min of shut eye.

I didn't get to run last Thursday (8/16) b/c I stayed up so late w/ my sister at her 21st Bday party and couldn't get up in the morning. I had planned on hitting the treadmill that night, but it was my husband's Birthday that day and he and the Family wanted to go out to dinner. (8/17) Tammy and I decided to meet for out long jog on Friday instead of Saturday b/c of all the stuff we had going on last weekend w/ Chris's Bday and all. Tammy's knee started giving her trouble and she couldn't run. I walked with her for 4 miles so that we wouldn't be alone. Last week didn't turn out the way I thought.. but that's ok. You can't be perfect all the time.

(8/22) - 3 MILES: I had friends in town until Monday and Tuesday I was still recovering from out wild weekend. I started my runs yesterday. I will take Friday off and run on Sat. and skip Sunday in order to get back on track for next week. Yesterday I jogged up to the Frisco High School track so that I could calibrate my ipod. I ran one mile on the track for calibration. Then I ran/walked home (it was really hot last evening). It totaled a little over 3 miles of running.

Saturday 8/25 5 or 6 MILES: So this morning Patti picked me up at my place at 6:45AM. We drove over to our normal Saturaday morning jogging spot b/c we like that place the best. Tammy wasn't able to go this time b/c her knee was still bothering her (Bummer). Lindsey and her husband Andy both met us up there. Patti and Lindsey are on about the same level running wise so they ran together. I ran part of the way with Andy b/c he is running the longer distances and hardley ever stops. I found out my ipod/ nike thing is still off and was so mad. Andy had a GPS watch that tell exactly how far you have run. When my ipod said 1 mile, his GPS said we had gone 2.5. I was floored. Shortly after I found this out he began walking. I kept jogging so after that I was all alone. I ran till my ipod told me I had gone 4 miles. I figured that I had at least gone 5 (which was my goal) but that I had probably gone more. I think on my last mile or so I experienced what they call the "runner's high". It was wierd. I had been really tired and then all the sudden my body felt all tingly and I felt like I could run forever and never get tired or have to stop. It was so crazy. Anyhow after we ran we all went to breakfast at the new Bread Winner's in Plano. It was really good.

8/27 & 8/29 (40 minutes): The last two days have been pretty un eventful. Since I cannot trust my ipod to give the correct millage then I am now relying on time to average my milage until I can buy a GPS watch. I figure my average mile is no less that 8:40 on the fast side and no more than 10min on the slow side. Which means (over guessing) that 10min equals at least a mile or more. So I have set the time on my ipod to tell me when 40 minutes is up. That way I know I've gone at least 4 miles. I did this on both days and it seems to be working really well. Go me!

A lot going on.....

So I guess I'll just get straight to the point. There is a ton of stuff going on right now.. I feel like if my head isn't spinning now, it's going to be really soon. You might want to keep you're eyes open for that one b/c I'm sure it will be entertaining to say the least ( I mean a head just spinning around on a body... that's wack/ I know I know.. bad joke).

To start with I'm training for a 1/2 Marathon that I will be jogging on December 9th. That in tales getting up at 6:30am to go jogging 4 plus miles 4 days a week; plus one week of weights. I'm not used to getting up so early, but I think it's kind of getting easier. *Thank you Chris for helping my by practically pushing me out of bed when the alarm goes off. Although it's hard to get up; I'm so glad when the jog is over b/c that means my workout it done for the day and I don't have to worry about it anymore. That rocks!!

I FINALLY started back to school this week after being off for 2.5 years. Holly mackerel!! I cannot believe it has been that long. Where does the time go? (If you know please tell me b/c I'd like to go get some back) My major is now English and it will remain so until I graduate. I'm so over this changing my mind all the time. I probably wont even use my degree anyway. It feels wierd being back in classes. I'm just glad I'm not the old lady in class. At my school the average age is 35. Crazy huh? This semester I am taking: Literary Criticism, Shakespeare & Biology (complete w/ a 3 hr lab on Monday .. Boo). That is 9 hrs total.

I'm still working at Designagted Marketing in the A.M.s on Mon. & Wed. before class, as well as all day the day's I don't go to school. In addition to my regular job I'm doing tons of promotions on the weekends to make some extra cash. This whole month's weekends are already completely booked up with promotions. I'll have to say that's a first for me. Usually I only book them a week or so in advance. This is football season though.. so it will be getting really crazy here soon.

I guess that's it for now. I will be posting a second blog here in a min to update you guys on my Marathon training. Some of you may have read the first part of this b/c I'm just going to copy and paste it onto here from my Myspace Blog. The last few paragraphes however will be from my last three days of training. That's about it for now... My best friends are (in no particular order) Tammy, Jessica, Ashley, Alena, Carolina, Heather & Sherri. These ladies are my heart and soul. I was raised by my grandparents and they are my heros. Once apon a year and a half ago I lived in San Diego. Carolina and Heather live there and I miss them terribly everyday. I attend TWU and I love it; I'm majoring in English w/ a minor in art. I plan on being an elementary school teacher. In addition to school I'm a freelance promotional spokesmodel and I work 3 days a week for my husband's company as a stock analyst. I have a Great Dane named Maximus;to those who know him personally, it's just plain ol' Max. I love chocolate more than almost anything.. and if I don't eat it everyday I might just die. I'm also eaqually addicted to my morning cup of coffee. I'm currently training for a 1/2 Marathon in December and am a running fool. I love to laugh and do it often. You can easily hear me clear across a noisy room. My friends say that I'm a bad influence.. I say.. I just like to have more fun than them.. LOL. You wouldn't call me a girly girl; I classify better as chick. I love color; you would actually have a hard time finding anything black in my closet period. Speaking of clothes, I love to shop! I spend entirely too much money on overpriced ripped jeans and studded T-Shirts. My favorite alcholic beverage is Wine and I'm always looking for an excuse to drink it. I'm also quite fond of margaritta's. My life's dream is to travel the world (ALL OF IT). I love to snowboard and will drive w/o complaint long distances just to catch some fresh powder. I ride a 150 K2 Luna just in case any of you were wondering. I'm what some would call a health nut. I keep a food journal everyday tracking all my calories; but I give this up on the weekends b/c I absolutly love food. My favorite dessert is choclate cake (FYI: Maggiano's has the best). Working out for me is a "must". I work out religiously 4-5 (sometimes 6) days a week. My husband is HOT.. just so you know. I like to change my hair color every few months b/c I get bored easily. I have 4 piercings and no ink. I listen to cheesy 80's music all the time. My first concert was Bruce Springsteen, as well as my first CD (I have a small but inoccent obsession with him). I know all the words to Born in the U.S.A. I also know all the words to almost every Beach Boys song ever recorded. THANKS DAD. Beware of my handshake, I've been known to squeeze off the hands of grown men. My favorite cartoon character of all time is Pepe Lepew and I have no idea why. I go to the movies at least once a week. I read books as much as possibe and am not big on T.V. (unless of course it's Nip/Tuck). I rarley watch the news and know absolutly nothing about polotics. I could go on for hours..but I'm sure you've read enough all ready. I have no doubt I could turn even the geekiest of men into something to brag about.
